According to A Bola, Benfica’s futsal department has agreements in place for two signings for 2026/27 as planning for next season advances.
The board, led by Rui Costa and working with Tomás Barroso, is said to have lined up recruits for Cassiano Klein’s squad, who are seeking to retain the national title.
The additions are expected to be Anderson Fortes and Rúben Góis. Fortes, a 22-year-old Angolan winger with Leões de Porto Salvo, has five goals and 10 assists in 22 matches this season.
Góis, a Portugal international pivot, has impressed for Rio Ave and was on Benfica’s radar in January. He has 16 goals for the Vila do Conde side and scored four times at the last European Championship.
With Brazilians Diego Nunes and Higor departing, two foreign-player slots are open, and Fortes would fill one. Góis qualifies as a homegrown JFL, which keeps another non-domestic place available. The report adds that Cléber Souza could occupy that vacancy.
