Samu Costa, previously linked with Benfica, is leaving Mallorca to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr after the Spanish club confirmed his transfer.

AS reports the holding midfielder will cost €25 million, making it the most expensive sale in Mallorca’s history.

Costa, 25, arrived in the summer of 2023 from Almería and quickly became a standout in La Liga’s midfield.

Last season he made 33 appearances in all competitions, starting 31, scoring seven and providing two assists, but could not prevent relegation to the second tier.

He was included in Portugal’s World Cup squad and played 20 minutes against Colombia. The move will be his first experience in the Middle East.
