Benfica ‘linked with’ Stefan de Vrij as Inter contract nears expiry | OneFootball

According to Nicolò Schira, Benfica are among the clubs monitoring Stefan de Vrij, whose Inter contract expires in June after their Serie A title win.

The Netherlands centre-back, 34, is on a broad list of potential destinations, with Olympiakos, Premier League sides, clubs in Türkiye and teams in Saudi Arabia also tracking him.

His deal is up this summer and Inter have offered an extension to 2027 on reduced wages, with deliberations ongoing.

Viewed as a market opportunity, he could be available as a free agent and is valued at €3.5 million.

De Vrij has made 15 appearances for Inter this season, nine in Serie A, three in the Champions League, two in the Coppa Italia and one in the Supercoppa, totalling 1,025 minutes without a goal.
