Benfica scouts watch Jeff Ekhator in Genoa’s 3-2 win over Bologna | OneFootball

Benfica sent scouts to watch Jeff Ekhator as Genoa beat Bologna 3-2 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. According to Glorioso 1904, the 19-year-old forward is under consideration.

The Italy youth international started the Serie A match and was substituted after 55 minutes.

Genoa's goals came from Ruslan Malinovskiy, Caleb Ekuban and Junior Messias. Malinovskiy, a Ukraine team-mate of Anatoliy Trubin and Georgiy Sudakov, was on the scoresheet.

Ekhator has made 20 appearances for Genoa this season, 18 in Serie A and two in the Coppa Italia. Across 576 minutes, he has scored three goals. He is valued at 7 million euros.

Benfica are considering an offer in the region of 15 to 18 million euros for Ekhator. The club could still move before the January transfer window closes.
