Benfica ‘to consider’ Trubin sale at about €40m | OneFootball

Benfica have started planning the summer transfer window and are open to negotiating Trubin, the undisputed starter under José Mourinho.

News.LIVE reports that some enquiries have progressed into concrete contacts, prompting the club to consider a sale. The asking price is around €40m.

A significant share of any deal would be directed to Shakhtar Donetsk, which retained a percentage of future profit when he joined Benfica.

The goalkeeper scored the decisive goal against Real Madrid, helping Benfica secure a place in the next stage of the Champions League.

This season Trubin, valued at €25m, has started 47 matches for Benfica, 29 in Liga Portugal Bwin, 14 in the Champions League, two in the Taça de Portugal, one in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. Across 4,185 minutes he has conceded 38 goals.
