Benfica have set an asking price of at least €40 million for goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin this summer, Record reports. The valuation comes amid continued interest from abroad.
The deal that brought the Ukraine international from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023 includes a clause granting the Ukrainian club 40 per cent of any future capital gain.
Trubin joined for €10 million, with a further €1 million in achievable add-ons, so a sale at €40 million would leave a significant slice heading back to Shakhtar.
On those figures, the capital gain would be around €29 million, of which roughly €11.6 million would go to Shakhtar and about €17.4 million to Benfica.
Despite the noise around his future, no formal offers have arrived. Club and player remain open to a move if a suitable opportunity arises.
Trubin is keen to test himself in the Premier League and, at 24, feels this could be the right moment. He believes last season enhanced his profile, particularly after his headline-making late goal against Real Madrid in a 4-2 victory.
