Benfica ‘to target’ Brazil goalkeeper Ederson from Fenerbahçe | OneFootball

Sic Notícias reports that Benfica are considering a move for Brazil goalkeeper Ederson of Fenerbahçe in Türkiye, as they prepare to face Flamengo on 11 July in the Algarve.

With Anatoliy Trubin attracting interest from several European clubs, the Portuguese side are monitoring Ederson as a possible replacement.

Ederson, 32, is under contract at Fenerbahçe until June 2028. Any deal would require a fee to re-sign the Brazilian.

He is currently with the Brazil squad after being called up for the World Cup. He is expected to begin the tournament on the bench, with Alisson first choice under Carlo Ancelotti.

Kick-off time for the Benfica v Flamengo meeting is yet to be confirmed. The match will form part of Flamengo’s mid-season work and pre-season for the Portuguese side.
