MIAMI – Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers concluded with the final matches in Groups C, D and E on Monday.

Haiti, Jamaica, and Costa Rica sealed their place in the Final Round as winners of their respective groups. Nicaragua and Bermuda advance as the two best second place teams to complete the field for the Qualifiers.

Group C

Cayman Islands 3-0 Saint Lucia 

The Cayman Islands finished off its tournament on a positive note with a 3-nil victory over Saint Lucia in Group C at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Reese Bateson opened the scoring in the 15’, getting past two defenders to score.

Clara De Quintal doubled the lead in the 38’, when she cleaned up a rebound off a save.

The Cayman Islands put the exclamation point on the win in the 84’, as Olivia Ridley’s high corner kick connected with Kezia Parchmont for the thunderous header.

Haiti 3-0 Guatemala

Haiti completed a perfect group stage with a 3-nil win over Guatemala to win Group C at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.

Haiti got on the board in the 4’ as Krystel Châtelain pounced on the rebound from Kyrah Lormil’s blocked penalty.

A minute later Keisha Gue doubled the lead as she found some space to blast one past the goalkeeper. 

Haiti was awarded another penalty at the end of the first half, and this time it was Kerdina Lamour that stepped up from the spot in the 45’+1’.

Haiti finished the group stage undefeated, racking up 17 goals while only conceding one, to advance.

Group D 

Guyana 14-0 Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 

Guyana closed out its tournament with a dominant 14-nil win over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group D at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba.

Alexaudria Chasles led the way with six goals, scoring four of them as part of a nine-goal first half for Guyana. 

Ellie Biffin also contributed with a brace as Guyana had eight different scorers in the statement win. 

Honduras 0-1 Jamaica 

Jamaica clinched Group D with a hard-fought 1-nil win over Honduras at Stadion Guillermo Prospero Trinidad in Oranjestad, Aruba.

The lone goal came in the 44’ when Elizabeth Miller rose in the box to head home the winner off a great corner kick delivery from Shennell Walters.

Jamaica played the majority of the second half down a player as Ricquanna Richards was shown a red card in the 57’. 

The Reggae Girlz were able to hold off Honduras and secure the victory to advance, finishing the group stage for three wins and a draw.

Group E

Grenada 3-2 Anguilla

Grenada finished off its tournament with a 3-2 win over Anguilla in Group E at Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua. 

Anguilla got on the board first as Kaylee Durand rang one off the post from a tough angle in the 2’.

It didn’t take long for Grenada to respond as they found the equalizer in the 10’, off a free kick from Cara Bisasor. 

Another free kick gave Grenada the go-ahead goal in the 48’ when Alexis Hypolite smashed one from distance. Hypolite unleashed another long blast in the 57’ that floated into the net to mark her brace and put Grenada in command.

Anguilla netted a late goal in the 86’ as Safiyah Gaskin tapped in a cross by Samantha McCormack-Fleming.

Costa Rica 3-1 Cuba

Costa Rica rolled to a 3-1 victory over Cuba to win Group E at Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua. 

After a scoreless first half, Valentina Vargas opened the scoring in the 46’ with a towering shot from long range.

Then it was Lucía Paniagua leading the way for Las Ticas, notching a brace to secure the win. She scored her first in the 54’ and followed it up with a penalty kick just four minutes later.

Cuba’s leading scorer in this tournament Yaiselis López netted the lone goal for her team in the 89’. Costa Rica finished the group stage unbeaten, scoring a tournament-best 40 goals while only conceding two, to advance.
