Bernardo Silva confirmed as Real Madrid signing under Mourinho | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Bernardo Silva on a two-season deal to 30 June 2028.

The Portugal international ends nine seasons at Manchester City, where he established himself as a key player in Europe.

With City he won six Premier League titles, three FA Cups and five League Cups. His haul also includes one Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, the Club World Cup and three Community Shields.

He had been linked with Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and a return to Benfica, but has chosen Madrid, who are now coached by Mourinho.

In 2025/26 he made 53 appearances for City, 38 in the Premier League, eight in the Champions League, three in the League Cup and four in the FA Cup. Across 3,854 minutes he recorded three goals and five assists, and is valued at €22 million.

The move forms part of a new phase at Madrid under the Portuguese coach, with the ex-Benfica midfielder seen as the fourth addition. Madrid have already secured Marc Cucurella, and talks are ongoing for Ibrahima Konaté and Denzel Dumfries.
