While Silva’s boyhood club Benfica have been working behind the scenes to explore a possible return, the financial burden of his wages represents a significant obstacle. Juventus, by contrast, appear better positioned, with their strong relationship with Silva’s agent, Jorge Mendes, potentially proving decisive. Mendes recently brokered the move that took Francisco Conceição to Turin, strengthening ties with the Italian giants.
