Kane moved to Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 for around €100 million. The high transfer fee was the subject of controversy at the time, but now hardly anyone at Säbener Straße is in any doubt that the transfer has more than paid off

This season alone, Kane has scored an incredible 61 goals in 51 games across all competitions, adding to that seven assists and his enormous importance as a leading player within the team

Coach Vincent Kompany also raved about the Englishman’s mentality after the final. The Belgian particularly praised his work against the ball and his role within the team. Kane is „one of them all“, although he regularly shines with spectacular numbers

With the cup win, the Englishman has now won his next title with FC Bayern and finally put an end to all discussions about his supposed lack of winning mentality

So it’s no wonder that Bayern want to tie Kane to the club for the long term. His current contract runs until 2027, and the Munich club are already working hard internally on an extension.
