Real Betis will be without Natan de Souza for Sunday’s league match against Valencia, the defender serving a one-match suspension after reaching the booking limit against Deportivo Alavés.

As reported by Superdeporte, the Brazilian centre back received his fifth yellow card of the season at Mendizorroza on matchday 21 of LaLiga 25/26, a game that also affects the Mestalla club’s position in the table.

Carlos Vicente opened the scoring in the third minute. Shortly afterwards, referee Miguel Ángel Ortiz Arias opted not to caution Lucas Boyé for a heavy challenge on Natan.

Around the 35th minute, Natan, starting in central defence alongside Marc Bartra, was booked for a forceful foul on Toni Martínez.

Manuel Pellegrini also has a lengthy injury list for the Valencia fixture, with Giovani Lo Celso, Aitor Ruibal, Rodrigo Riquelme, Isco, Junior Firpo, Cucho, Bellerín and Amrabat unavailable.

The involvement of their star, Antony, is not 100% certain due to discomfort in the pubis.
