Ahead of the most exciting month of the campaign, Betway, the Official Betting Partner of Manchester City Football Club, has selected some of their favourite end-of-season moments that have seen City lift silverware.
As the curtain begins to fall on the 2024/25 campaign, fans often begin to to reflect on their favourite end-of-season moments that encapsulate the drama, love and sometimes heartbreaking nature of football.

The moment that will be forever ingrained in City’s history.
After almost falling at the final hurdle, City won all of our final six games of the season to be crowned champions of England on goal difference.
Sergio Aguero scored deep into added time to see us lift the Premier League trophy after an intense 2011/12 title race with rivals Manchester United.
As Aguero’s shot hit the back of the Queens Park Rangers net, the Etihad crowd erupted as Aguero carved his name in history and performed one of the most iconic celebrations the Club has, and will ever, see.
The 2023/24 Premier League Player of the Season, Phil Foden capped off an incredible campaign with a brace in City’s final outing of the campaign.
We welcomed West Ham to the Etihad with a game of football at the forefront of City’s mind before the trophy lift.
And it took our local lad from Stockport just two minutes to fire City ahead with a fantastic, curling finish. The jubilation continued when he found our second on 18 minutes with a composed strike.
Mohammed Kudus halved the deficit before Rodri completed the scoring in our 3-1 triumph.
Like something out of a Hollywood movie, City were 2-0 down on the final day of the season with Aston Villa scoring their only shots on target.
Ilkay Gundogan pulled one back for City and was followed up quickly by a Rodri equaliser.
With nine minutes left on the clock and Guardiola’s side chasing a winner, the former German international took centre stage with his close-range finish.
Kevin De Bruyne’s pass across the face of the Villa goal was perfect and as the team ran to the corner flag in celebration, the knee slide and frantic fans make it one of the most thrilling end-of-season moments.
To complete Betway’s rewind, City Women’s 3-0 FA Cup final win over West Ham was the perfect day at Wembley.
Keira Walsh opened our account with Georgia Stanway doubling our lead in what was an evenly contested match-up.
Lauren Hemp scored a fantastic, ranged effort to confirm silverware for City and our second FA Cup in three seasons and a sixth major honour in the Club’s history.
