The international break is here for the Juventus Women, and as many as 17 of our Bianconere are heading away to represent their respective nations this April.
Let’s take a look at where they’re off to and what awaits them!
Canada - One player (Lysianne Proulx): Two home friendlies await Lysianne and Canada in Vancouver and Victoria, both against Argentina.
Denmark - One (Amalie Vangsgaard): Amalie and her Denmark teammates have two UEFA Women’s Nations League games on the agenda, taking on Wales in Cardiff and then Italy in what is something of a Bianconere derby.
France - One (Pauline Peyraud-Magnin): Two Women’s Nations League games for Pauline, taking on teammates in both. She and France face Switzerland and Norway, bringing her up against Viola Calligaris and Mathilde Harviken.
Germany - One (Paulina Krumbiegel): A double-header against Scotland in the Women’s Nations League, first in Dundee and then in Wolfsburg.
Italy - Eight (Chiara Beccari, Valentina Bergamaschi, Lisa Boattin, Sofia Cantore, Cristiana Girelli, Martina Lenzini, Cecilia Salvai, Eva Schatzer): A Scandinavian double for our Azzurre, who first face off against Hanna Bennison and Emma Kullberg’s Sweden, then Amalie Vangsgaard’s Denmark. Both games are in the Women’s Nations League.
Norway - One (Mathilde Harviken): Norway and Mathilde are in action away against Iceland before returning to Oslo to host France, again in the Women’s Nations League.
Sweden - Two (Hanna Bennison, Emma Kullberg): Solna and Gothenburg are the home venues for our Swedes as they host Italy and Wales in the Women’s Nations League.
Switzerland - One (Viola Calligaris): Viola will be in Women’s Nations League action at home in St. Gallen against France and then away to Iceland.
USA Under-23s - One (Abi Brighton): Abi and the USA U23s are based in California this month for a training camp, but they have no games on the schedule.
