West Ham are set to bid for Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
The Danish shot stopper, who is also understood to be a target of Newcastle United this summer, is the number one target for Graham Potter in that position.
Hermansen has worked with West Ham goalkeeper coach Casper Ankergren previously at Brondby, with the pair understood to be close.
This puts West Ham as the favourites to sign the highly rated goalkeeper, however it remains to be seen if the club can strike a deal with the Foxes.
Leicester, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, are eager to raise funds, with the club said to be expecting a bid from West Ham, most likely tomorrow.
The replacement for Hermansen has already been signed in Asmir Begovic.
West Ham will make their move, most likely in the next 48 hours, with Potter and Macaulay eager to land another top target following the arrival of Malick Diouf.
Attention will also turn to the midfield, with the club expected to ramp up pursuits of Douglas Luiz and Mateus Fernandes.
