There are now only four teams left unbeaten in their domestic leagues after the latest round of matches before the October international break.
Heading into the weekend, there were seven teams, but three suffered their first loss of the 2025-2026 campaign. Crystal Palace fell to Everton (2-1) thanks to a Jack Grealish goal in stoppage time. Cremonese, unbeaten in the first five rounds of Serie A, were humbled by Inter Milan (4-1).
Barcelona also saw their unbeaten run come to an end, losing to Sevilla by four goals to one. This marks the first league defeat for the Blaugrana this season.
In Germany, two teams have yet to taste defeat: Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. The Bavarians, in particular, are on a perfect run with six wins from six matches.
In Italy, Juventus, who were held to a draw by AC Milan (0-0), and Atalanta Bergamo, who shared the points with Como (1-1), also remain unbeaten.
It’s worth noting that in France, no team has managed to keep a clean slate in terms of defeats— even defending champions PSG have suffered a loss, falling to Olympique de Marseille in Le Classique.
The 4 unbeaten teams in the Big 5:
Juventus (Italy, 3 wins, 3 draws)
Atalanta Bergamo (Italy, 2 wins, 4 draws)
Bayern Munich (Germany, 6 wins)
BVB Dortmund (Germany, 4 wins, 2 draws)
