The former Blue scored both of England's goals as they edged into the semi-final of the World Cup, and former NFL star had something to say about it.
The former NFL star had a succinct message as the Birmingham star Bellingham fired England to a World Cup semi-final meet-up with old foes Argentina.
Former Birmingham City star Jude Bellingham continued his outstanding work for England at the 2026 World Cup finals by scoring both goals as the Three Lions edged past Norway and into a World Cup semi-final against Argentina in Miami.
It was a nervy night for England, not least after Andreas Schjelderup gave Norway a 36th-minute lead. But Bellingham equalised with a superb finish in first-half stoppage-time, and after the deadlock couldn't be broken in normal time, he capitalised on an error by the Norway goalkeeper Orjan Nyland to book their place in the semi-finals.
Later in the same evening, England found out that their opponents will be their old enemies Argentina, who booked their place in the last four of the competition with a 3-1 win after extra-time against Switzerland.

Former NFL star and Birmingham City Tom Brady had a two-word message for Jude Bellingham as England edged past Norway and into the semi-finals of this summer's World Cup in Miami on Saturday.
Referencing the Beatles hit record which has become something of an anthem which has followed Bellingham around throughout his career, he posted the simple message "Hey Juuuude" to his account on the social media platform X shortly after the Real Madrid star had scored the first of his two goals that evening.
The goals were Bellingham's 11th and 12th for his country, coming in his 54th cap for the England national team, a remarkable figure, considering that he is still just 23 years of age. They also moved Bellingham into fourth place in the hotly-contested race to be the top goalscorer in the finals, with only Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland ahead of him.

As a local lad who started his career with their club, Birmingham City fans had a lot to say about Jude Bellingham's heroics for England in Miami. This Blues fan feels that the club should name a stand at their new stadium after him:
And this fan had a huge amount of pride in being able to say that he'd seen the star turn out for his club:
This Aston Villa fan was even able to put aside his club's rivalry with the Blues to celebrate Bellingham's performance:
But this Derby County fan still rates one of his club's players as being better than Bellingham:

There will always be an enormous amount of local pride in seeing 'one of your own' make their mark on such a huge stage as Jude Belingham made his own on Saturday night.
Born in Stourbridge and first signed by Birmingham City at eight years of age, Bellingham was forged at St Andrew's, making 44 Championship appearances for the Blues before signing for Borussia Dortmund for a fee in excess of £30 million in the summer of 2020. Already known as a prodigy across the continent, he made his move to Real Madrid for £88.5 million three years later.
And Jude might not be the last Bellingham to make such a move, either. His younger brother Jobe also started his career at St Andrew's before moving on to Sunderland and then signing for Dortmund in June 2025. He's just completed his first season in the Bundesliga, having made 49 appearances in all competitions for his new club.
With Jobe's performances having impressed throughout the 2025-26 season, there remains every possibility that the England team will end up with two Bellinghams in their midfield in the near future. The Birmingham City to England pipeline may not be done yet, and fan pride in these two remarkable players both having come from this one club could yet be set to reach new heights.
