Birmingham City sign French youth international Hurtré | OneFootball

Birmingham City have completed the signing of French youth international Océane Hurtré on a three-year deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from Blues this afternoon.

The 21-year-old joins Birmingham City off the back of a spell with French Arkema Première Ligue club Paris Saint-Germain. Hurtré came through The Parisians’ youth system before going on to feature for the first team. The youngster has also turned out for Dijon FCO and Bordeaux in her senior career to date.

Hurtré is a versatile player. She can operate in either midfield or attack. It is not yet known how she will be utilised by new club Birmingham City.

On the international stage, Hurtré has represented France at various youth levels up to and including Under-23 level.

After joining Birmingham City, Hurtré said “I am very happy to be here. This is a new stage for me, a new goal, and I can’t wait to get started.

“I am very eager to play in front of the supporters, discover the stadium and win many matches here.”

Hurtré could make her Birmingham City debut against Bristol City on the opening day of the new Barclays WSL2 season.
