Blues have been credited with interest in the Cherries' Daniel Jebbison
Birmingham City's summer transfer activity is set to generate plenty of intrigue given the ambitions which have been set out by American investment group, Knighthead Capital Management, in recent times.
Blues have spent plenty of money since the consortium's initial takeover at St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park three years ago, and many would be expecting more of the same as they look to, this time, maintain a spot in the Championship's promotion picture.
Chris Davies has received a fair portion of criticism from supporters in recent times given the fact that the club were unable to align their short-term ambitions and squad reshuffles with, at the worst, a spot in the play-offs, having finished 10th last term, nine points behind Hull City, who went on to reach the Premier League alongside Coventry City and Ipswich Town.
At present, it is hard to truly gauge where Birmingham will be at when the new EFL season gets underway in under two months' time, as well as which figures are to be assisting the 41-year-old boss when it comes to plotting transfer moves following Craig Gardner's recent exit.
In recent weeks, there has also been plenty of transfer speculation involving Blues, but it is fair to say that the majority of such discourse has leant towards departures.
Indeed, the high-profile trio of Demarai Gray, Marvin Ducksch and club-record signing, Jay Stansfield, have all been linked with moves away from the club, as well as seeing highly-rated winger, Aurelien Guernier, set to join AC Milan on a free transfer.
Such developments have caused frustration amongst supporters, and it is fair to say that Football League World's Birmingham City fan pundit, Jason Moore, isn't best pleased with reports linking the club with a loan move for AFC Bournemouth striker, Daniel Jebbison.

Indeed, with the Cherries now under the management of Marco Rose and UEFA Europa League-bound for the first time in club history, plenty of key decisions are set to be made at the Vitality Stadium between now and the start of the Premier League season.
One of those appears to be surrounding the 22-year-old forward, who has also represented Canada on seven occasions, despite missing out on the FIFA World Cup 2026.
According to TEAMtalk, Blues are one of five Championship sides plotting a loan move, with Jebbison's speed in transition seen as a valuable asset, as well as looking to build on his six-goal term with Preston North End.
Yet, despite signing a four-year deal with Bournemouth for £1.5m from Sheffield United in 2024, Moore has urged Birmingham to look elsewhere.
"Avoid him," he told FLW. "No, I don't rate him whatsoever.
"He's not been great whenever I've seen him play. I saw Premier League links, and I don't understand where those have come from.
"I think he's a League One striker at best," said Moore.
"Stay absolutely well clear of him, and go and get someone else. He's not for me and there's not much else to say about him."

At present, it remains to be seen where Jebbison's immediate future lies, with Bournemouth holding the hope that he could develop into a key first-team player in Dorset over time.
As such, a loan move would be the sensible course of action, albeit all of Coventry, Ipswich and Hull are said to be keen on a potential permanent move depending on circumstances.
However, all of the other four Championship clubs linked - Burnley, Blackburn Rovers, Middlesbrough and Norwich City - have also been linked with plenty of forwards, even though the Clarets, in particular, are still managerless after relegation despite strong links to Craig Bellamy.
There are certainly cases to be made as to which side would suit Jebbison best and vice-versa, but at present, it is certainly an intriguing saga to keep an eye on.
