Boca confirm Jabes Saralegui to stay at Tigre on new loan | OneFootball

Boca have settled Jabes Saralegui’s future, the midfielder will stay at Tigre in 2026 after agreeing another loan. The deal is free of charge and includes a purchase option.

The 22-year-old, a Boca academy product, returns to Victoria after an impressive year under Diego Dabove in which he wore the number 10. In an interview with AZZ, Juan Román Riquelme also said Ángel Romero will be the club’s first addition for Claudio Úbeda’s side, with only formalities remaining.

Tigre pushed to keep Saralegui on the back of those performances and the move was made official in recent hours. He is due to spend one more season there.

The midfielder expressed his delight at renewing, describing 2025 as a very positive year for him and the group, and noting his good relationship with team-mates.

Romero, the 33-year-old Paraguay forward, is expected to pull on the Azul y Oro this weekend once paperwork is completed, with the agreement described as practically closed.
