Boca improve and extend Dylan Gorosito’s deal to December 2030 | OneFootball

Boca have secured Dylan Gorosito on a long-term contract after improving the right-back’s terms.

The club said in a statement that his deal now runs until December 2030.

Born in Moreno and from the 2006 intake, Gorosito has been a standout in the reserves, reflecting Boca’s drive to protect academy talent and their faith in his technical and physical attributes.

Now 20, he made his senior debut on 21 July 2024 in a 2-2 draw away to Defensa y Justicia, showing maturity that quickly caught coaches’ attention while he continued to feature for the reserves.

After excelling at that level, he joined the current pre-season with the first team, and his dynamism, pace and timing in attack convinced the staff to integrate him fully.

The renewal lands as Vasco Arruabarrena reshapes the back line, having informed Juan Barinaga and Marcelo Weigandt on arrival that they would not be considered.

With those exits imminent, Gorosito will battle for the right-back slot with Leandro Lozano, a recent addition signed in this window.
