Boca vs O'Higgins dates confirmed for 2026 Copa Sudamericana last 32 | OneFootball

CONMEBOL confirmed the schedule for the 2026 Copa Sudamericana last 32, where Boca will face O'Higgins of Chile. The first leg is set in Buenos Aires, while the return date is fixed but the venue remains undecided.

The opener will be played on Thursday 23 July at 21:30 at La Bombonera. Boca will look to seize a lead at home, having recently exited the Copa Libertadores there.

The second leg is scheduled for Thursday 30 July at 21:30 in Chile. The stadium has yet to be confirmed.

O'Higgins have requested permission to host the tie at Estadio El Teniente in Rancagua. The club's ground currently falls short of the competition's stadium regulations.

For this stage, a minimum capacity of 20,000 spectators is required. El Teniente holds a little over 14,000, which would in principle rule it out.

Despite that, the Chilean club have filed for an extraordinary exemption with the confederation in Luque. They argue the stadium's facilities are of a high standard and note they were allowed to host group matches there, when the threshold was 10,000 seats.
