Bologna ‘lead race’ for Tchatchoua as Gomes ‘in talks’, Brereton-Diaz link and Emi Martinez claim | OneFootball

Fresh transfer lines around Wolves, West Brom and Villa include Joao Gomes talks with Atletico Madrid, Bologna interest in Jackson Tchatchoua, a Brereton-Diaz link and an Emi Martinez rumour.

Sport.ua reports Shakhtar Donetsk have opened negotiations to sign Wolves full back Pedro Lima, a 2024 £8.5m arrival from Sport Recife. A deal is said to be close.

Gomes’ future appears away from Molineux, with talks over a potential £38m move to Atletico said to be advancing. He is viewed to prefer Madrid after rejecting Leeds United, Zenit Saint Petersburg, Atalanta and Galatasaray, despite richer packages.

Wolves are understood to have given the green light for Tchatchoua to leave after a difficult season. Bologna are credited with leading the race, with Real Betis, Villarreal, Rennes and Marseille also interested.

West Brom have again been linked with Brereton-Diaz. The Southampton striker scored four in 17 on loan at Derby County last term and, with two years left, would command a fee amid wider interest.

Aston Villa retain interest in Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush after January admiration. City are not planning to sell, but could if they recoup £59m.

Liverpool are looking at a potential deal for Martinez. With Alisson expected to depart and Juventus named as front runners, internal talks are said to be gathering pace.
