Bologna ‘to demand’ £21.3m for Sunderland-linked Jhon Lucumí after Besiktas bid rejected | OneFootball

Bologna have reportedly rebuffed an offer from Besiktas of Türkiye for Sunderland-linked Jhon Lucumí, and have set an asking price for the defender.

“A year ago, we couldn’t sell him at the end of the transfer window, but we promised him that this year, given a suitable offer, we’d make it happen.” He told Pallone nel 7.

Nicolo Schira claims Bologna turned down a bid of around £12.8 million and are seeking a package worth roughly £21.3 million, with unnamed Serie A and Premier League clubs monitoring.

The Colombian centre-back has been repeatedly linked with Sunderland over the past year.

On Wearside, recruitment chiefs are assessing defensive options, particularly left-sided and left-footed profiles, with Premier League, domestic cup and European commitments increasing the need for depth.
