Bonkers Pep Losing the Plot Ahead of West Ham v Man City

Okay, let’s be honest here . . . West Ham really shouldn’t have any reasons to be cheerful ahead of todays game against Manchester City.
After all, we’re playing Pep’s all stars and a team who appear to be fighting on all fronts, whilst us poor Hammers lick our wounds in the bottom three of the Premier League. However, scratch below the surface and City have the look of a team struggling under the strain of being second best in Europe and the EPL.
Guardiola went full Eric Cantona mode as he addressed the media in his pre-match presser and looked every inch a manager under pressure. Quite why he got side-tracked into discussing his Man City future is anyone’s guess, but hinting that you might not be around next season probably doesn’t do a lot for team morale.
Nuni Espirito Santo on the other hand is seems to running a very happy camp and even the absence of star man Crysencio Summerville hasn’t dented his cup half full attitude. Factor in Tottenham boss Igor Tudor on the brink of the sack whilst the North Londoners sit a single point above West Ham and it makes for a very interesting weekend.
As someone far wiser than me once said “If you can keep your head, whilst all around you are losing theirs” etc. And with Nottingham Forest’s big Greek fella looking close to bursting a gasket, it could be that Nuno’s calm Hammers are in a good position even if the table doesn’t say so.
