West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus has rejected the opportunity to treble his salary by moving to the Saudi Pro League (SPL).
An SPL club were reportedly ready to pay a fee close to the Hammers’ £70 million valuation for the forward.
Kudus joined West Ham in 2023 and enjoyed an impressive debut campaign, bagging 18 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances.
However, he struggled to reach the same level this season, scoring just five goals in 32 Premier League matches.
West Ham are ready to cash in on the Ghanaian this summer to raise funds for new arrivals.
BBC Sport claims that several clubs have expressed interest in signing the 24-year-old, including Chelsea.
West Ham have enquired about the availability of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, with Lukasz Fabianski set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Arsenal identified the Ghana international as a target before he signed for the Hammers in 2023. They could reignite their interest.
Kudus has three years left on his current contract, with the club also having an option to extend it by 12 months.
He is open to leaving West Ham this summer, but he wants to join a club that can provide him with Champions League football.
