Sabri Lamouchi slams the Tunisian Ligue 1

New Tunisia head coach Sabri Lamouchi did not hold back in criticizing the Tunisian Ligue 1 during his first press conference as manager of the Carthage Eagles.

The former Elephants boss replaced Sami Trabelsi, who was dismissed following Tunisia's elimination by Mali in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).

"To be honest, I’m not going to watch all the matches in the domestic league, some games are really boring and don’t give me a clear idea of the players’ potential," he declared in his first meeting with the Tunisian press.
