Borussia Dortmund closing in on the signing of Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb – but the move hinges on the completion of Antoine Semenyo’s €65m move to City | OneFootball

Sport1 reports that Borussia Dortmund are closing in on the signing of Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb; however, the move hinges on one detail. 

Most of the aspects of the deal are finalised, including it being a loan move for the remainder of the season, which also includes a buy option worth €30m. 

However, Bobb can only move to the Bundesliga if City are able to complete a €65m move for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, whose possible arrival would drop the Norwegian further down the pecking order. 

Where does Bobb fit at Dortmund?

With Julien Duranville rumoured to be leaving in January, Dortmund will need further depth in the positions behind the striker. 

The 22-year-old can play on both the left and the right and will add a different dynamic to a Dortmund attack that has had to rely on either the speed of Karim Adeyemi or the individual quality of Serhou Guirassy for much of this year to get their attack going.
