Borussia Dortmund are gearing up for the second leg encounter against Barcelona, with the Bundesliga giants facing an improbable task of overturning a four-goal deficit.
Dortmund will take some solace from the fact that star midfielder Pascal Gross is back in contention, while the club can always rely upon the Yellow Wall at Signal Iduna Park to offer immense support.
However, it appears tensions are running high between the two sides, with Dortmund fans causing some mischief heading into the tie.
As reported by El Chiringuito, Borussia Dortmund fans have been caught throwing firecrackers outside the Barcelona team hotel in Dortmund.
This is happening roughly 24 hours before the match, with BVB fans already making themselves known ahead of the tie.

This is enough to indicate that the Signal Iduna Park will be packed despite Dortmund’s current situation.
The Barcelona team is currently staying at Hotel Radisson Blu in Dortmund, which is roughly a five-minute drive from the Signal Iduna Park.
Despite the firecrackers, though, nothing major has been reported outside the Barcelona team hotel, which suggests only a small number of fans doing the mischief.
That being said, it will be interesting to see how Barcelona will be received at the Signal Iduna Park, which has consistently racked up the highest average attendance in the Champions League throughout the season.
With more than 80,000 supporters ready to back Borussia Dortmund, it will be interesting to see if it will be enough to help the Black and Yellows stage a comeback for the ages.
