Borussia Dortmund ‘reject’ first Barcelona offer for Adeyemi | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund are said to have rejected Barcelona’s first offer for Adeyemi after personal terms were said to be agreed on Thursday.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the opening €20 million bid for the forward was declined.

With Adeyemi’s contract expiring next year, Dortmund are not in the strongest negotiating position and are unlikely to secure the previously touted €40 million.

A compromise around €30 million has been floated, with the clubs potentially meeting in the middle.

There has also been speculation that Barcelona players, including Roony Bardghji, 20, winger, Marc Casadó, 22, central midfielder, and Héctor Fort, 19, full-back, could be included as part of the deal.
