Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson attracts interest from Manchester United | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson (28) is attracting interest from Manchester United, according to Kicker.

Despite his incredible Bundesliga campaign, the Norway international isn’t considered unsellable by Dortmund, who need to generate transfer revenue following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League in February.

As reported in March, Dortmund would consider selling Ryerson, who registered 15 assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances in 2025/26, for €30m. The 28-year-old, who can operate at right-back and left-back, signed a contract extension in October 2024 until June 2028.

Although a key player for Die Schwarzgelben, a sale may be necessary for club bosses to overhaul the squad. Dortmund have already secured the signings of Justin Lerma (€4m) and Kauã Prates (€7m) while newly appointed sporting director Ole Book moved quick to announce the signing of RB Salzburg defender Joane Gadou (€19.5m).
