According to Globo.com, two unanimous picks landed as all nine panellists backed Atlético-MG to beat Athletico-PR and Flamengo to overcome Santos.

Other results wrecked every tip. The Vasco v Botafogo clássico produced no correct calls, eight had gone for the Cruzmaltino and one for a draw as Botafogo won. The same happened in Internacional v Corinthians, an Inter triumph arriving after six backed the home side and three a draw.

Gato Mestre alone foresaw São Paulo beating Cruzeiro. Tiago Medeiros was the only panellist to back Bragantino against Mirassol. Fred Bruno alone went for a draw between Grêmio and Remo, frustrating eight tips on a Grêmio victory.

Beyond the unanimous calls, the most successful prediction was the draw between Chapecoense and Vitória, correctly chosen by four of the nine.
