Bournemouth are aware of strong interest from Premier League rivals in midfielder Alex Scott.

Scott has shone since becoming a regular starter in Andoni Iraola’s side this season, with the 22-year-old making 18 league starts for the Cherries. His impressive performances earned Scott an England call-up during November’s international break.

Bournemouth have sold several key figures in recent windows, including the £62.5m departure of Antoine Semenyo to Manchester City this month.

Semenyo’s sale brought Bournemouth’s incomings to around £268m since last summer, with Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Ilia Zabaryni also commanding big fees.

Scott could be the next high-profile sale. TEAMtalk are reporting that there is growing interest in the Guernsey-born midfielder, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Newcastle United and Aston Villa all monitoring his progress.

Bournemouth signed Scott from Bristol City for a fee in the region of £25m in 2023. Injuries impacted his first two seasons on the south coast but he has excelled since regaining full fitness.

He is contracted at The Vitality Stadium until 2028, leaving Bournemouth in a strong negotiating position.
