Record reports that Bournemouth are preparing to submit a formal proposal to Benfica for António Silva, in a deal that could reach 25 million euros.

A move to the Premier League is a stated aim for the defender and has weighed heavily in talks. No official offer has arrived yet, but there is confidence the step will come in the coming hours, potentially unlocking a process worked on for some time.

He has turned down Benfica’s renewal offer. Rui Costa proposed a contract running to 2031 with a rising salary and the prospect of the captain’s armband.
