Leeds United visit Bournemouth on Wednesday with two players definitely out and three classed as doubts, even as a key man returns.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the fixture was moved from next weekend after Leeds’ FA Cup progress, beginning a hectic week. Saturday’s 3-0 win over Wolves left them on 39 points, eight clear with five to play, before Sunday’s semi-final at Wembley.

Bournemouth, buoyed by a 2-1 victory at Newcastle, have not lost a league game since a 3-2 home defeat by Arsenal on Saturday, January 3. Andoni Iraola’s side report a relatively clean bill of health.

For Leeds, Joe Rodon is back in contention after an ankle problem, having returned from the bench late on against Wolves with no setback reported.

James Justin is also available after starring at the weekend, with post-match cramp the only issue and no fresh injuries reported by Daniel Farke on Tuesday.

For Bournemouth, former Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams has returned to fitness, playing 45 minutes from the bench in each of the last two games. Iraola reported no new injuries on Tuesday, so his involvement depends on selection.

Lewis Cook is close after partial training and could be in with a chance of the bench. Left-back Julio Soler has trained with the group but lacked minutes and did not make the Newcastle squad, so his status remains uncertain.

Dan James has resumed training after an adductor strain, although Farke stressed he now requires several sessions, so any involvement on Wednesday would be a surprise.
