Braga run riot to climb into fourth | OneFootball

Braga routed AVS 4-0 at Estádio Clube Desportivo das Aves on Monday, climbing from fifth to fourth in Liga Portugal.

Ricardo Horta opened the scoring in the seventh minute, turning in Pau Victor's pass. Rodrigo Zalazar doubled the lead from a Horta-assisted corner (30.).

Adriel kept the hosts in it before the break, saving from Victor (41.). After the restart he denied Gabri Martínez and then João Moutinho, but the visitors' control never relented.

Substitute Diego Rodrigues slid a through ball for Victor to add the third (80.). Victor struck again moments later from close range after Horta's cut-back (83.).

Victor then hit the right post late on (88.). Lukáš Horníček made three saves to secure the clean sheet for the visitors.

Braga registered eight shots on target from 10 attempts. AVS had 32.9% possession and produced three efforts on target.

AVS remain 18th. Next, AVS visit Sporting CP in the Taça de Portugal. Braga host Rio Ave next.
