Brasileirão: Renato Gaúcho to field reserves before Flamengo v Vasco | OneFootball

Vasco face Olímpia (PAR) on Thursday in the Sudamericana and, according to Coluna Do Fla, Renato Gaúcho will send out a fully rotated side at São Januário to protect regulars for Sunday’s Brasileirão meeting with Flamengo.

The coach has used alternative line-ups throughout the competition. On the opening night against Audax Italiano (CHI), he did not even travel to Chile. At home he is expected to repeat the approach, with first-choice players starting on the bench.

Despite a modest start, Vasco have drawn with Barracas Central (ARG) and lost to Audax Italiano at home. They return to São Januário at 21h30 Brasília time on Thursday, seeking a first win in the competition.

Before the derby, Flamengo visit Estudiantes on Wednesday 29, the third round of the Libertadores group stage. Kick-off is at 21h30 Brasília time in La Plata, Argentina.

Flamengo v Vasco is set for Sunday 03 at 16h Brasília time at the Maracanã, the Clássico dos Milhões counting towards round 14 of the Brasileirão.
