Tuesday 21 April, 11:00: Bragantino v Mixto-MT on UOL. At 16:00, Fluminense v Palmeiras on TV Brasil. At 19:00, Cruzeiro v Internacional on Nsports.

Wednesday 22 April, 15:00: Vitória v Botafogo on UOL. Corinthians have 13 points and lead on goal difference, with Palmeiras and São Paulo also on 13. América-MG and Vitória are the only sides yet to win.

There are 18 teams in the first phase, a single round-robin. The top eight advance to one-off quarter-finals and one-off semi-finals, with a two-legged final. The bottom two after the first phase are relegated to Série A2.

The CBF has increased prize money. Champions receive R$ 2 million and runners-up R$ 1 million, with R$ 720 thousand for participation plus R$ 20 thousand per match broadcast nationally.
