The fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Feminino 2026 starts on Thursday with two fixtures, including a direct meeting between Cruzeiro and Fluminense for early positioning. Saturday 28 March: at 15h América-MG v Mixto-MT on CBF TV, at 16h Internacional v Grêmio on TV Brasil, and at 17h Red Bull Bragantino v Bahia on CBF TV.

There are 18 teams in total. The first phase is a single round-robin. The top eight advance to single-leg quarter-finals and semi-finals, and the final is played over two legs, with the bottom two relegated to Série A2.

CBF has increased prize money, with the champions getting R$ 2 million and the runners-up R$ 1 million. Clubs also receive R$ 720,000 for participation plus R$ 20,000 per nationally televised match.
