Brazil ‘to seek to host’ 2029 Club World Cup | OneFootball

Brazil have expressed interest in staging the 2029 Club World Cup, with CBF officials raising the plan with FIFA president Gianni Infantino in Rio de Janeiro, ESPN Brasil reports.

CBF president Samir Xaud has said he has already discussed the idea with Infantino.

He followed up during the FIFA president’s visit to Rio de Janeiro, which launched preparations for the 2027 Women’s World Cup.

FIFA has not yet outlined the criteria to choose the 2029 host nation.

For the 2025 edition, the United States were selected without a formal bidding process.
