Brazilian midfielder omitted as Wolves face Burnley on final day | OneFootball

Joao Gomes was omitted from Wolves’ squad as they face Burnley on the final day, with Angel Gomes starting in midfield.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Rob Edwards made one change from the draw with Fulham. The Brazilian is likely to join Atletico Madrid when the window opens, with negotiations between the clubs ongoing.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde was also absent, and Rob Edwards named a bench featuring two youngsters and four full-backs.

Academy defender Ethan Sutherland was included alongside 16-year-old midfielder Jerome Abbey. The Thomas Telford School pupil was first named on the bench in February when Wolves took on Bournemouth at Molineux.
