Andoni Iraola is set to leave Bournemouth when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Spaniard signed an extension in the summer of 2024, having originally joined the club a year earlier on a two-year deal.
According to The Athletic, the club made several efforts over a 15-month period to retain Iraola but are now resigned to the fact that he will move on.
The report states that the playing squad have been informed of Iraola's decision.

The Cherries have begun the process of identifying a replacement with Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is among the candidates being considered, although other options are also under review.
Ipswich, currently competing for promotion to the Premier League, are keen to retain McKenna, whose contract includes a release clause.
For Iraola, he is being linked with joining Crystal Palace to replace the outgoing Oliver Glasner, while a return to his homeland with Athletic Club has also been mooted, although that switch is considered unlikely to materialise.
