Ronald Koeman has reportedly resigned as Netherlands boss after the Oranje were sent packing in the World Cup last-32 by Morocco on Monday evening.
The 63-year-old was widely criticised for his tactics in the tournament despite winning Group F with relative ease.
After being knocked out by Morocco in Monday's round-of-32 clash, Koeman defended his decisions.
“You can think of the tactics whatever you like, but we gave away much less against a team much stronger than Sweden and Tunisia," he said. "And if I had to do it again, I would do it the same way again."
It will bring an end to Koeman's second stint as Netherlands boss. In the subsequent three years, Koeman's side failed to beat a team ranked in the top-25 of FIFA's world rankings, drawing six matches and suffering eight defeats.
