Brentford Women B backed up their recent title win with a 4-0 victory over CB Hounslow Abbots in the Greater London Women's Football League Division One South on Sunday afternoon.

The Bees scored four in the second half as Paula Holguin's brace, plus goals from Marta Boabonay and Eva Ralston, ensured the win.

Tommy Ryan-Maynard's side went into the game having claimed the league title with a 6-1 win last weekend, and didn't rest on their laurels against the side bottom of the division.

It did, however, take until the second period for the west Londoners to open the scoring. Despite Boabonay hitting the post from a penalty and Holguin having a goal ruled out for offside, they couldn't find the opener in the first 45.

It was on 50 minutes when Brentford took the lead as Esme Alaneme put in an excellent whipped cross, which Holguin nodded home from close range.

Three minutes later, the Bees had a second as Ralston scored her first goal in red and white. Boabonay put in a low cross to the back post, which she tucked home to make it 2-0.

On 79 minutes, Brentford made sure they would finish the day with their 13th league win of the season as Alaneme recorded her second assist of the day, giving Boabonay an easy tap-in to an empty net.

It took them less than a minute to add a fourth, sealing the victory with a flowing team move. Freya Morgan worked space in midfield with a clever drag back, before slipping in Boabonay with a perfectly weighted ball.

The winger then squared the ball to Holguin, who scored her second of the day as the Bees carved open the Hounslow defence.

In the end, it was another convincing victory from Ryan-Maynard's side, who will look to achieve a maximum of 46 points with two league games remaining.
