White is the first player in Vancouver's MLS era to score at least 15 goals in three consecutive seasons and the first to record four straight campaigns with double-digit MLS goals.

This year, he's been even more efficient, scoring 10 goals in his first 11 league matches.

That versatility has helped White become the Whitecaps' all-time MLS leading scorer and the first player in the club's MLS era to reach 100 goal contributions across all competitions.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, the United States still lacks a clear long-term answer at striker. Mauricio Pochettino's recent squad selections reflect that uncertainty, with White competing alongside players such as Folarin Balogun, Patrick Agyemang, and Damion Downs for minutes and opportunities.

White may not be the flashiest name in the pool, but few American forwards can match his consistency.
