Tommy Watson has joined Leicester City on loan for the coming season as Albion continue to shape their plans.

According to TheArgus.co.uk, the former Sunderland winger heads to the Foxes for the season as they look to bounce back from successive relegations, and sporting director Mike Cave believes the move should aid his progress with a side aiming to compete near the top of League One while offering his best wishes.

Watson was not with the Albion squad for their game against Strasbourg in Vienna.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at Millwall and will hope another EFL stint helps after a first year with Albion that never really got going.

Fellow winger Ibrahim Osman spent last season on loan in the Championship at Birmingham City and could now remain with Albion for the coming campaign.
