Bruno Arleu de Araujo to referee Santos v Coritiba Copa do Brasil first leg | OneFootball

Bruno Arleu de Araujo will referee Santos v Coritiba at 19:30 on Wednesday at Vila Belmiro, the first leg of the Copa do Brasil fifth round, according to Diario Do Peixe.

The Rio de Janeiro official, 43 and Fifa-PRO, will be assisted by Rodrigo Figueiredo Henrique Correa and Luiz Claudio Regazone, also from Rio, with Marco Aurelio Augusto Fazekas Ferreira, from Minas Gerais, on VAR.

In 2025 he officiated two Santos league matches, a 1-0 defeat at Arena do Grêmio and a 1-1 draw with Atlético-MG at Arena MRV.

In 2024 he oversaw a 2-1 loss to Sport at Ilha do Retiro on Série B’s final day, his first game after a controversy that led to his removal at the CBF.

In July 2023 he refereed the 4-3 win over Goiás at Vila Belmiro, awarding Santos a stoppage-time penalty that sealed the result. He also handled the 2-1 defeat to Cruzeiro at Independência, and Santos’ exit to Bahia after a 1-1 draw at Arena Fonte Nova, decided 4-3 on penalties.

In 2022 he took charge of a 1-0 defeat to Coritiba at Couto Pereira in the Copa do Brasil third-round first leg, and a 2-1 home loss to Atlético-MG.

In 2021 he had four league appointments for Santos, defeats to Bahia 3-0 at Pituaçu and Cuiabá 2-1 at Arena Pantanal, plus home wins over Grêmio 1-0 and Atlético-MG 2-0.

In 2020 he oversaw two league meetings with Coritiba, both Santos wins, 2-1 at Couto Pereira and 2-0 at Vila Belmiro.
