Bruno Genesio ‘considered’ by Paris FC if Antoine Kombouaré departs | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Paris FC have contacted the entourage of former Lille coach Bruno Genesio as a possible option if Antoine Kombouaré chooses not to stay.

The club are awaiting Kombouaré’s decision in the coming days and hope it will be positive.

On RMC last week, majority shareholder, with his family, Antoine Arnault said they had loved working with Kombouaré, that results spoke for themselves and that the team looked transformed.

Kombouaré has called the experience unique and said talks will cover squad planning and his health. After a 2-1 win over PSG on the final day, he explained he postponed a second knee operation for PFC, suffered after matches and was frequently seen standing in his technical area.

In parallel, the hierarchy have assessed fall-back options should he step away. The club declined to confirm any approach to Genesio. He is a free agent after leaving Lille and has recently been linked with OM, while his experience and leadership appear to fit ownership and sporting criteria.
