Arsenal endured a difficult first half against Nottingham Forest in their Premier League clash at the City Ground on Saturday evening.

The Gunners have a glaring opportunity to extend their lead at the summit after Manchester City slipped up earlier in the day, and with set to play Aston Villa on Sunday.

However, despite some agonisingly close openings, including a bewildering miss from Gabriel Martinelli, Arsenal were relatively restricted against Sean Dyche's side.

They registered eight attempts on goal in the first half, but not one of those efforts found the target.

According to Opta, it was the most shots registered without hitting the target since Mikel Arteta's first game in charge of the club against Bournemouth back in December 2019.
