Manchester City striker Bunny Shaw and new England senior squad member Freya Godfrey are on the shortlist for the WSL Player of the Month award for November.
The six players up shortlisted for the award were named by the Women’s Super League on Friday and fans can vote on the WSL website for who they think should win.
Aggie Beever-Jones claimed the award in September after an excellent start to the season, in which she scored in Chelsea’s opening four games.
Manchester United’s Jess Park took the honour in October after excellent performances against Chelsea and Everton.
Now the spotlight moves to a new group of six players who delivered standout performances throughout November. Each nominee represents a different club and brings a strong individual case backed by decisive contributions on the pitch.
Freya Godfrey’s nomination is driven by her influence in the final third throughout the month.
With two goals and two assists she has been central to her team’s attacking rhythm. Godfrey brings composure and sharp link up play that helps her side control matches in important spells.
Her performances led to her receiving her first senior England call-up.

Kelly Gago enters the shortlist after a clinical month in front of goal, after scoring against Aston Villa and Manchester City.
She produced 3 goals and continued to show excellent timing and movement inside the box.
Gago’s ability to strike when chances arise has been vital for her team. Her inclusion recognises a run of form that combines smart positioning with a calm finishing touch.
Kerstin Casparij has delivered one of the most complete sets of performances in November with impressive displays against West Ham, Everton and Manchester United.
Her two assists against the Red Devils take her to six goal contributions for the season – two goals and four assists.
Casparij provides stability in defence and her versatility and creativity make her one of the most impactful players on the shortlist.

Beata Olsson joins the list after matching Gago with three goals across the month, scoring in each of Liverpool’s games with Tottenham, Brighton and Chelsea.
Liverpool have struggled this season but her direct approach and sharp finishing has been a positive spark.
Olsson’s confidence near goal and instinctive movement inside the penalty area have marked her as a constant threat throughout November.
Bunny Shaw scored two goals and provided one assist in a prolific November for the Manchester City star.
With six goals and two assists this season, she is showing again why she is one of the most dangerous forwards in the WSL.
Shaw’s blend of power, speed and composure allows her to dominate in attacking areas and her involvement in so many of her team’s goals highlights her importance during the month.
Completing the shortlist for the WSL Player of the Month award in November is Alyssa Thompson.
Thompson netted two goals and continued to show the space and fearlessness that make her one of the league’s most exciting young players.
With six nominees offering impressive contributions, the November award promises to be highly competitive. After Beever-Jones and Park collected the previous two honours, attention now turns to which of the six standout performers will claim the latest accolade.
